A SECOND Seafood Experience

Last night Philip and I went to dinner with his Singapore colleagues. His co-workers, Jeani, Poon, and Kok-Lin, took us to the East Coast Seafood Centre where we ate at Jumbo Seafood...once again.

We never saw a menu, but this is what arrived:

-Fish "pancake" Tamale-thing (spicy and frightening)
-Bamboo Clams (in a Bamboo shell...)
-Drunken Prawn Soup (the prawn swim in Chinese wine and get "drunk" then cooked)
-Sauteed Spinach/Garlic-looking vegetable
-Black Pepper Crab
-Strips of Beef
-Water Crest Strings (tasty wet blades of grass-with garlic)
-Chili Crab
(I was given the claw...for more meat of course)
-Chicken and Beef Satay (Pretty tasty)

And no trip to Jumbo would be complete without an entire Fried Fish!

Better get ready for lunch, Philip's meeting me at McDonald's!
